Foresight Sports launched Foresight+, a new software and membership platform for its golf simulators. Jeff Foster, president of Revelyst Golf Technology, admitted their software had not matched their hardware quality. He claimed Foresight Premier is now the most robust platform in the industry for simulation and performance analysis.
This demonstrates the hardware-software gap problem. The mechanism is asymmetric capability investment. A company can build excellent sensors that capture ball data with precision.
