Full Swing Connects App To Simulator. The Hardware Was Never The Whole Product. Software Completes The Loop, As Expected.

Full Swing, headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut and now part of Versant's portfolio of golf businesses, has announced a major software update that connects a mobile app directly to the Full Swing Simulator experience. The update includes enhanced performance tracking and adds Victory Ranch GC as a new playable course. Full Swing is the largest US-based producer of golf simulators and the Official Licensee of the PGA TOUR.

This demonstrates the principle of the connected system, where a standalone device becomes a platform only when software bridges it to persistent user data. The mechanism is synchronization: the simulator captures swing data, the app stores and contextualizes it, and the feedback loop tightens. A simulator without connectivity is just an expensive toy. A simulator with an app becomes a longitudinal coaching instrument.
