Full Swing Connects Its Simulator To Your Phone. Finally. The QR Code Does The Heavy Lifting.
Full Swing released a connected app-simulator experience that pairs their KIT hardware with a mobile app via QR code scan. Existing users link through their Full Swing account. New users scan the Launcher's QR code to get started. The company also added Victory Ranch Golf Club as a new virtual course. Full Swing is the Official Licensed Simulator of the PGA TOUR and an Official Technology Partner of TGL presented by SoFi.
This illustrates the principle of peripheral convergence. The mechanism is account-based hardware binding. Your expensive hardware investment becomes more valuable not through new hardware but through software layers that connect it to your phone. The simulator is not the product. The data ecosystem is the product. Remember that.
Full Swing, now part of Versant's portfolio, built this. They are the Official Licensed Simulator of the PGA TOUR. That credential means something, even if you do not play golf.
- Download the Full Swing app on your phone and create an account or log into your existing one.
- Find the QR code on your Full Swing Launcher and scan it with your phone camera to pair the simulator.
- Open the app and explore the performance tracking dashboard to see your ball-flight data. If you do not own a Full Swing KIT, you cannot do this. That should be obvious.
