NeoPace Drops G10 Pro On Kickstarter. It Watches Your Swing With Three Cameras. Diagnosis Is Not The Same As Correction, Naturally.
NeoPace launched the G10 Pro on Kickstarter, a Triple-Cam 3D Golf Launch Monitor that uses AI to analyze your swing in three dimensions. The device identifies swing flaws, explains what caused them, and tells you how to fix them. The pitch is that practice becomes focused rather than random.
This is the shift from measurement to interpretation, which is the entire point of applied AI in sports. Raw data without diagnostic reasoning is just a pile of numbers. The mechanism here is causal inference. The system does not merely record what happened. It constructs a chain of cause and effect, which is what a human coach does but with more cameras and fewer opinions.

- Record your golf swing on your phone using slow-motion video mode. Film from two angles if possible, side and front. You now have the raw data a launch monitor captures.
- Upload the video to an AI chatbot and ask it to analyze your swing frame by frame. Request specific feedback on club path, wrist angle, and weight shift. The AI will give you a rough diagnosis.
- Ask the AI to suggest one drill to correct the biggest flaw it identified. Try the drill at a driving range. The feedback loop is crude compared to a triple-camera system, but the principle is the same.
