Zuckerberg Wants Your Credit Card, Not Your Brain. The Industry Isn't Ready. Governance Is The Real Bottleneck.
OpenAI's ChatGPT Work now integrates with over 13 business tools, including HubSpot, Salesforce, Adobe, and Figma, for campaign strategy and creative development. Meanwhile, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg pitched a future where platform advertising requires only a credit card and a business goal, though industry expectations for full automation extend beyond 2026. Event Marketer also expanded its summit partnership with Voxo to include AI capabilities.
The underlying principle here is interface collapse. When a tool absorbs 13 adjacent tools into one conversational layer, the bottleneck shifts from execution to governance. You are no longer choosing which software to use. You are choosing which decisions to delegate. That is a categorically different skill, and most marketing teams have not been trained for it.
OpenAI is shipping the integrations through ChatGPT Work. Meta's Zuckerberg is articulating the automation vision. Event Marketer is extending its Voxo partnership for summit applications.
- Open ChatGPT and connect it to a tool you already use, such as Google Drive or any supported integration available in your plan. Look for connected apps or integrations in your settings. Expected outcome: ChatGPT can read or reference files from that tool.
- Ask ChatGPT to draft a campaign brief using a document from that connected tool as source material. Expected outcome: A brief that references your actual business context rather than generic filler.
- Review the output and note every place where the AI made a decision you would have made differently. Expected outcome: A short list of governance gaps where human judgment still needs to be inserted before publishing anything.
