Organic Search Traffic Shrinks by 2.5 Percent, Not 25
📰 THE BRIEF
Previsible analyzed 150 plus AI SEO statistics through November 2025. Organic search traffic fell 2.5 percent from February 2024 to November 2025. The data contradicts claims that AI will erase half of all organic visits.
💡 WHY IT MATTERS
Marketers must replace panic headlines with actual traffic numbers. This shifts the workflow from reacting to hype to auditing real performance data before changing strategy.
👥 WHO'S DOING IT
Position Digital publishes the annual AI SEO Statistics report. Their December 2025 edition shows YMYL sites holding steady while alarmist forecasts predicted steep losses.
⚡ TRY IT
- Open Google Analytics and create a custom segment for organic sessions.
- Compare February 2024 and November 2025 totals.
- Export the month over month change to a spreadsheet and note the actual percentage decline.
