Google Unveils Ask Advisor 1. It Summarizes Your Ads Data. Because Reading Dashboards Was Apparently Too Hard.
Google introduced Ask Advisor 1, an in-product AI agent across Google Ads and Google Analytics. The system delivers AI-powered summaries on homepages, generates visual reports from text prompts, and benchmarks your performance against similar businesses. Google frames this as replacing deep measurement expertise with conversational shortcuts.
This demonstrates agentic integration, where an AI agent embeds directly inside a workflow rather than sitting beside it. The mental model is embedded cognition. The tool does not just answer questions. It observes your data environment and acts within it. The lesson: the most useful AI lives where the work happens, not in a separate chat window you have to remember to visit.
Google is deploying these features across Google Ads and Google Analytics. The source does not specify which account tiers receive access first.
- Log in to your Google Analytics account and look for AI-powered summary sections on the homepage. Read the auto-generated insights to see what the agent surfaces.
- In Google Ads, locate the visual report creation tool and type a simple text prompt like 'show campaign performance this month.' Observe what visual output the system generates.
- Find the benchmarking feature and compare your account against similar businesses. Note which metrics the AI selects for comparison and whether the benchmarks feel relevant to your actual market.
