XbotGo Falcon Tracks Soccer Without Taxing Your Wallet. The Subscription-Free Angle Is The Whole Point. Obviously.
The XbotGo Falcon is a 4K AI sports tracking camera that follows on-pitch action automatically and requires no subscription. The reviewer, a soccer dad with multiple seasons of experience using the related XbotGo Chameleon, prefers the Falcon because it frees up your smartphone. The Chameleon, by contrast, requires you to attach your iPhone to the device to record.
This illustrates the principle of dedicated versus converged hardware. A dedicated device that handles one task autonomously, like tracking a soccer match, preserves your other tools for their intended use. The mechanism is resource partitioning. When your phone is not physically strapped to a camera rig, it remains available as a remote, a communication device, or a second screen.
The reviewer at Mashable tested the XbotGo Falcon across multiple soccer seasons and compared it directly to the XbotGo Chameleon. The Falcon is identified as the most popular subscription-free AI sports tracking camera.
